Alpine Stables has been a part of the Waterton Lakes community since 1969. For more than 40 years, visitors to Waterton Lakes National Park have enjoyed the chance to experience our park by horseback, making trail rides one of the favourite activities among tourists and locals alike. Novice riders can enjoy gentle hourly or half day guided rides led by guided who love sharing stories about Waterton's history, its wildflowers and wildlife habitat. More experienced riders can explore Waterton's breathtaking alpine trails or guided overnight pack trips that can span as many as 5 days.
