Heritage Acres Farm Museum

Add to Trip Planner

This working farm museum is home to old farm equipment, machinery and buildings that have been restored to show how things were done in "the good old days".  On site is the Doukhobor Barn, Jumbo Valley Presbyterian Church, the United Grain Growers Elevator "Prairie Sentinel" and the steam powered sawmill.

The Crystal Village - which includes a school, church, taxi stand, playhouse, coal shed, office and storage building - is made up of 200,000 glass insulators from Alberta's telephone poles. There are several events that happen at Heritage Acres every year, the biggest being Heritage Days held on the August long weekend.

Located in Pincher Creek, Alberta, the Heritage Acres Farm Museum is a 30 minute drive from Waterton Lakes National Park.
