Hilarious at times, but always touching, Lindsey Walker is a passionate force to be reckoned with.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lindsey has been calling Alberta home for over 8 years. After studying music and touring with various Edmonton-based bands, Lindsey made the leap into her first adventure as a solo artist. Since 2011, Lindsey has been touring very frequently, sparking a faithful following across Western Canada. Prior to her debut release (Our Glory; 2013) Lindsey was nominated for the 2013 Edmonton Music Award in the “Artist to Watch” category. The album was officially released May 2013 to a sold out crowd in Edmonton. Enlisting fans through Indiegogo’s crowd-funding platform, Lindsey received an overwhelming response, garnering interest from numerous blogs, and was even featured on the Indiegogo homepage as a Success Story.
From her debut release, Lindsey has had one of her songs placed in film: Love You Right was played in the Canadian documentary “What’s for Dinner” which aired nationally on CityTV.
Lindsey continues to tour and play festivals in Western Canada.
