Rocky Mountain Guesthouse


It is a beautiful large home with split levels and post and beam construction, making the rooms very open and spacious. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, an 800sq foot games room, a family room with a sunken fire place, a large front room with a towering brick fire place, a solarium with patio doors to walk out to the yard, and a large kitchen and dining room. There is a spacious grass area for playing games and includes large a fire pit. The yard is very private with several large trees surrounding it. The kitchen is complete with all new dishes, silverware, cookware and small appliances. It is a wonderful home for families to have a great memory-filled vacation and is located in Mountain View, Alberta, which is just 15 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park. There are several other attractions within an hour’s drive: Lundbrick Falls, Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, Remington Carriage Collection, the Cardston Alberta LDS Temple, and Glacier National Park just across the border in the US, to name a few.

Sleeping arrangements are:

Master suite: A king size bed and a large bathroom with a walk in closet, shower, two sinks and toilet. It also has a walk out balcony overlooking the yard with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background.

Main Level: Bedroom 2: Two queen size beds and closet.

Bedroom 3: One queen bed, with closet and a loft where kids can put out sleeping bags

Lower Level: Bedroom 4: One queen bed with closet

Bedroom 5: Two queen beds with closet

Bedroom 6: One queen bed with closet

There is room for 16 people to sleep in beds. We will allow a maximum of 18 people. The extra people will have to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows. There will be an extra charge of $10.00/person/night for more than 12 guests.

A clothes washing machine and dryer are available in the home at no extra charge. There is a gas station, post office, gift shop, eatery and convenience store located just half a block away.

Chief Mountain Lodge
Chief Mountain Lodge is just 15 miles to Waterton Lakes National Park, on highway #5. Nestled in a beautiful & friendly community, Mountain View. Here you will find a paved hiking path, playground for children, a workout center & a church house, including a post office, store & gas station, & a art gallery. Horse back riding within 2 miles with a working cattle ranch. 14 miles to Cardston, to visit the famous Remington Carriage museum, live theater, Mormon Temple visitors center. 13 miles to the ‘Great Canadian Barn dance’ Be to 5 lakes in 20 minutes, fishing in Payne Lake less than 10 min. The Lodge has rakehead windows to view scenic Glacier & Waterton Rockies.

Rocky Ridge Country Lodge
Surrounded in trees, outdoor fire pit with wood available, deck with bbq. A beautiful and cozy, cedar lined cabin catering to the entire family or group of up to 8 people. Featuring 3 bed rooms, T.V. room, kitchen & great room, 1 full size bath room and 1/2 bath room, with laundry facilities for you to use. Cabin is fully furnished and equipped for you, with all bedding and amenities. There are places to eat in Cardston or Waterton with shopping & family swimming pools available. In Waterton you can hike, ride horses, take boat trips, eat, shop, tennis, movie house, Prince of Wales Hotel, golf course, bicycle path, with side trips to Red Rock Canyon, & Cameron Lake.
